My name is Jenny and the above quote is my personal mantra. My favorite comment I get from others while doing a big trail with a preschooler in tow is “Seeing what your child can do gives me hope that my hobbies won’t die with parenthood”. We are more than just parents. In addition to the title Mother I am a backpacker, peak bagger, ultra marathon jogger ……. The list could go on and on. I didn’t discover my love for the outdoors until after my teens were older. After having my bonus kidlet I had thought my adventures had to be put on a shelf until a later date. I soon learned how with some investment you’ll create one of the cutest, little adventure partners that you’ll ever have. I don’t get much time sans kidlet on trail, but it doesn’t matter. I have enjoyed sharing my passion with him and we both have developed a deep love of all things backpacking. I hope to inspire other families and help give them insight on all things adventure parenting. Happy trails everyone. Thank you for joining us.
